Post-MTB refreshment
Shocking, I know, but Doug managed to find us a brew pub AND and English pub within just a few meters of each other. Rehydrating is very important after mountain biking at the equator!
Yes, it's green. Not because it's Irish, but because it's infused with spirulina (which, according to the menu, is good for you and prevents AIDS infection).

Phuket to Singapore
Said goodbye to Naka Island today and traveled to Singapore. This is by far the cleanest city on earth. The streets are cleaner than our house (less dog hair too). There's even a ban on chewing gum. No shit.
Goodbye Phuket.....
Hello Singapore!
The white lights you see snaking through the city are the lights for the Formula One race this weekend.

Phuket bike ride
Phuket
Made it from Hong Kong to an almost-private Naka Islandisland in Phuket yesterday. Our villa has its own swimming pool and an outdoor bathroom (like camping but more expensive!). And it's their low season here, so we are one of maybe 10 people staying here. Absolutely beautiful.

Mountain Biking in Hong Kong
Today we got up before sunrise to meet our mountain bike guide to ride at Tai Lam Country Park. More details to be posted on our MTB blog later, but here are a few pictures for now. We dutifully left just enough blood on the trail to christen a new country, and then celebrated with Chinese beer and middle-eastern food at a local place with a Pakistani chef in Hong Kong (no shit).
