The pups continue to have fun at the cabin.  There was big excitement this week when a bear came into the yard (the black shadows under the tree limbs).

The big yard at the cabin gives Finn lots of space to practice his shadow herding.  

(Although I think this is more him thinking about how much he misses Mom rather than herding)

And of course, Sunday always has Doug's 6.

There was so much stuff in the barn that he had to rent a dumpster ... that's already been filled and replaced twice.

 

He's also almost finished re-tiling the shower in the bathroom! 

Doug continues to make progress at the cabin.  You can't really get the full effect without seeing "before" and "after" shots, but trust me when I say "WOW!!!"

 Doug couldn't find Sunday the other day.

The pups are having a great time being New Hampshire dogs.  I don't think they'll ever want to come home to boring old Missouri....

 Sunday goes crazy when she feels a tick on her.  She bites at it and gets obsessed .... and then starts foaming at the mouth, leaving her with an adorable little foam mustache!

 Neither of them have any interest in learning how to play catch with Sandy's old frisbees, but they sure do make good pull toys!!

Somebody honed the fine art of begging while visiting Grandma last week!

  This time it was Doug's turn to taunt me with the photo of the Dunkins.  (Jerk!)

My garden is totally gone, except for this plant fighting its way out of the ground.  I'm no expert, but it sure does look like something that is only allowed to grow in Colorado or Washington.
