Of course Norvell luck of the 300+ beds in this hostel guess who is
I'm the room next to me. Fuck me, going to be a long noisy night.
Yes the drunk Germans.

Poor Virginia Tech Americans being accosted by the drunk old Germans
who just sat down with them and started making asses out if
themselves. Amazing people watching.

Ok I am on a tear here. What is even worse is when a guy trying to
look the fashion ROLLS UP his Jean legs to Capri length. Come on just
wear shorts!

Sorry you all have to suffer I don't have Jen here to talk about people with.

But this is and has been or years a European accepted way to dress.
Not sure I see the concept vs shorts vs just another 4 inches of
material in long pants.

Must be my dessert talking.

Ok call me old and close minded but there is just something wrong with
burley men in Capri pants unless they are part if a gay pride
parade/day.

Dessert

Another day another brat :)

And another thing

And the other reason I am eating this is due to exchange rates. Swiss
franc is currently at an all time high against the dollar. When it
should be some where between .50c to $1 to 1 Swiss franc, it currently
is $1.30 to 1 franc. So just this right here cost $15. When I'm fact
it should be only $6. Norvell luck strikes again. Although I did
miss the hurricane which was amazing!

Biergarten bar. And yes they already know me by name.

3 large Octoberfest type tables

Partial view of hostel beer garden. James see the large chess set in corner

Day 2 lunch

OK so it is the same thing as yesterday. And NO I can't find pepper
salami, rolls or beer in the US. So therefore I have to stock up while
I am here.

The new Irish Pub just next door to the hostel. Owned by the same
guys as hostel. Very smart business man.
I have never been to any city in the world that didn't have an Irish
Bar. The Irish should have trademarked this and then they would be in
economic problems today.

This thing is huge. For those that have seen this park this thing
takes up half if it.

They are having a huge SCHWINGEN Festival in the city central park.
And yes SCHWINGEN translates to SWINGING. But in Swiss terms it means
Swiss wrestling. In dirt/sawdust it is a grab the belt/pants sort of
free for all. Apparently big here. I saw the same thing in Mongolia.
Wonder who came up with it first ?????

Day 2

Walked around town and my favorite walk along canal / river in city.
